Musing Mondays is run by Should Be Reading and asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

My musing:
I've just started reading The Tommyknockers by
Stephen King for the second time. I read it when it first came out but because I wanted to reread
it treated myself to the kindle version last month. I know it has had
average reviews by some and although I can only remember bits of the story I do know I enjoyed it, will be interesting to see what I think of
it now.
I don't reread a lot as there are so many new ones to try instead but Stephen King is someone whose books I will. Other novels I've read more than once include:
The Giant's House by Elizabeth McCracken
The Road by Cormac McCarthy
Replay by Ken Grimwood

I've never read that book. But a few years ago, when I was a teenager I was a huge fan of Stephen King's. I read Pet cemetery, Shinning, Needful things, Christine, Cujo, Carrie. But I must confess my favorite is Shinning.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a reread is a delight. I haven't read many Stephen King books, but have enjoyed several of the movies.

I don't reread books much just because I have too much books on my TBR list to have time to reread books I've already read. :) There were some that I actually reread, though, and it was always better for me the second time around.

I don't really reread books but there are just some books that are really worth rereading like Harry Potter or Paulo Coelho books :)
