Edward Adrift by Craig Lancaster

Edward Adrift Edward Adrift follows on three years after 600 Hours of Edward. Edward, who has Asperger's syndrome, has lost his job, his therapist Dr Buckley has retired so he has to see a new one who unfortunately for him isn't as punctual and he has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, he's also still trying to come to terms with his father's death. His friend and neighbour Donna has moved away since getting married and when she phones to tell him they're having problems with her son Kyle's behaviour Edward goes on a road trip in his Cadillac to visit them to try and help.
This is a very good follow up to the first Edward novel, is easily as good and I hope there's going to be a third. Although I think it would work as a stand alone novel I do recommend reading 600 Hours of Edward first.
