Top Ten Tuesday - Books I Wish Could Have Had Sequels

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme by The Broke and the Bookish and each week there's a different topic. As always, even if you can't think of 10, do as many as you can. This weeks topic is top ten books I wish could have had sequels (they were complete stories but you could have read more about the characters or set in that world).

Here are mine:

Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe Under An English Heaven Replay The Unit

Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg
Under An English Heaven by Robert Radcliffe
Replay by Ken Grimwood
The Unit by Ninni Holmqvist

I'm Not Scared The Night Rainbow Instructions for a Heatwave A Quiet Belief In Angels

I'm Not Scared by Niccolo Ammaniti
The Night Rainbow by Claire King
Instructions For a Heatwave by Maggie O'Farrell
A Quiet Belief In Angels by R.J. Ellory

Looking for Me Olive Kitteridge

Looking For Me by Beth Hoffman
Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout

I have no problem with how they all ended, and they are complete stories, but I could have happily kept reading for longer and would definitely get any sequels if published.

  1. Olive Kitteridge, I think, could go on and on with the stories that are linked.

Give yourself a hand. You are the first blogger who has made it to ten!

Here's my TT post: I Poohpooh Sequels.
