Book Blogger Hop (11th - 17th July)

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted at Ramblings Of A Coffee Addicted Writer and this week's question is:

 

Do you read books in translation? What are the last 3 books in translation you read?

 

I do read books that have been translated into English. A couple of the last 3 I've read are also two of my favourite books, Beside The Sea by Veronique Olmi and The Unit by Ninni Holmqvist. I also enjoy Niccolo Ammaniti's novels.

    I have only read one book in translation. Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. One of my all-time favorite books.

    I haven't read the books you mentioned.

    I just looked up 'Beside the Sea' and it looks amazing! If slightly gruesome. I want to read it now! I try to read books from as many countries as possible, so there are a fair few of translations but not a lot! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

      It's very good but is probably the most heartbreaking book I've ever read so be warned.

    I'll have to look for the ones you mention. I has less than in love with the last translation I read bt I don't know if it was the translation or jut the book!
